EXCELLENT Based on 145 reviews Theo Barsanti2025-01-20Verified Unique, interesting, different. Lots of engaging features including an earthy Inca Ceremony with an elder. We thought our guide was fantastic. His English was excellent and he took a great deal of care to make sure we understood. Oscar L2024-10-19Verified 100% recommended Excellent tour, panoramic visits to archaeological areas, participate in a religious ritual. You tour important parts of the city.. knew that all the guides must be very prepared, we had Paulo, a very prepared person, nothing improvised and who explained everything perfectly..in the end they give you a plus on foot that is well worth to finish the tour... The satisfaction is worth it.. Dina B2024-10-09Verified City tour Very informative tour. The guide, Paolo(did I spell his name right)was great. He explained everything in Spanish and English very well. You will see bit of many places,so if you want to see better(separate tours),you know what to expect.Highly recomend. Sandra S2024-09-08Verified We loved the views of the city ! We booked this tour for our first day in Cusco, and we got really surprised with the tour guide. It was very helpful, friendly, organized and knowledgeable. We enjoy! Rater Reviewer2024-08-30Verified Do this when you’re in Cusco This was an awesome experience! I would recommend doing this towards the end of your time in Cusco because if you do this in the beginning then you’ll have nothing to do during your trip since you saw everything thing at once. But if you do it at the end you can see better views of things you might’ve seen and things you missed out on.I recommend going on the top of the bus for better views unless you have a bad motion sickness. alejandra l2024-08-08Verified Do not waste your time or money The best thing about this "tour" is to get off the bus, they call it a city tour and only give you a walk around the block the rest is just wasted time (2 hours of nothing) just to get you money as a tourist, selling Inca liquor, alpaca clothes and a daunting "Inca ceremony", I die of cold and boredom, one thing is to see your face as a tourist another is to be seen shamelessly, a scam, I let the operators know, I hope they value the tourist of the future since they live by this but it is not the way to sustain it. DON'T TAKE IT. Helen Croxon2024-07-12Verified Not great but did the job I hesitated to take this trip as the reviews were mixed. However I was approached in the street and thought, why not?The good thing about it was that it took you around all the main sights. However the sound system was so bad that I couldn't work out whether it was English, Spanish or Quechua. The main place it took you to was a kind of cultural village experience. I thought this was going to be different stops, based on the information, but no. They took us in and sat us down for some kind of ceremony with the 'maestro', who I think was a shamen. Hard to know if it was real or all a bit of drama for the tourists but I didn't actually want to repeat a load of words in an unknown language. Either it's real and that could do something (but who knows what?) or it's a load of mumbo jumbo. I chose not to participate but some of the others seemed to be having a meaningful experience. From there we were taken to see a weaving demonstration, and encouraged to buy the products. There were a few llamas outside to see and there was also someone selling drinks and cheese empanadas. And there was a great view over Cusco. We drove past the main architectural sites, as advertised. The only other stop was at the 'Cristo', the large white statue of Jesus overlooking the town. I've been to see a few of these in South America but this was the least laid out in terms of paths and car parks. There were buses and tourists everywhere and an equal number of stands selling tourist merchandise. I think Jesus would have been turning over the tables and chasing the merchants out.Anyway, from there we went back to the city.Things to be aware of: although it says 'suitable for most' it isn't really. I joined at the Plaza de Armas although I think other people may have joined further away. From there it is a good two and a half blocks walking uphill to reach the bus. It's quite a trek. You are told you sit upstairs, so you have to be able to do that. Eventually I gave up and sat downstairs, which didn't have the proper seats in, just dirty bench seats along the sides, with no seat belts of course. There are pictures across the windows so you can't see our properly. So really it's upstairs or nothing. When we stopped there was no kerb so the step up to get on the bus was huge (over a foot) and I needed to be helped on. There was a poor old lady there who was helped on by her family, who left her on her own downstairs. It wasn't comfortable down there and she wouldn't have seen anything. She wouldn't have got anything from the experience as she wasn't able to get on or off either. It was OK. I would hope there were better types but I wouldn't guarantee it. WILLIAN F2024-06-16Verified Worst tour in Cusco I believe it is the worst tour in Cusco. If you have 2 hours to waste in the city, go do it. People only take you outside the ruins, there's no option to enter, then they take you to a village just to try to sell you clothes and green corn. Mary M2024-05-09Verified Tour needs improvement When we got to the “meeting place” we were taken down to the plaza to meet with the others going on the tour, then had to walk several more blocks to the bus. This wasn’t in the explanation, and why not say meet at the plaza?? The seats on top were small, seatbelts didn’t work, and it was very full. English speakers were in the minority. The guide was down on the bottom level of the bus and it was hard to hear his explanations. Everything was in Spanish first and then English. His English was much better than my Spanish but sometimes hard to understand. Enjoyed the overall views of Cusco. Had photos taken by some photographer for the tour but never saw them. When we stopped at a village where they sold alpaca, etc, the entire explanation was in Spanish with no English translation. I guess you get what you pay for. My bad for not booking something better. Lherbe2024-05-08Verified English comments non-existent Comments supposedly in English should have been optional because the tour was only in Spanish. Really nice ! Thanks to the organizer.
